What does lime wash do to the Reclaimed wood we use?
Lime washing maintains the look of natural rustic wood, allowing the grain to shine through. At the same time it adds a layer of protection and is a good solution if your looking to replicate historic furnishings, the history of Lime wash dates back to 100BC at the time of the Roman empire.
You can apply lime wash in full or partial coverage over interior raw wood. Lime wash can be applied to cabinets, trim, crown moulding, dressers, doors, etc.
