What you need to know!
Please remember that Reclaimed wood is a premium product, there are many copies and people doing there best to mimic our furniture with Brand new wood that is Rough sawn to look similar known as “Plank” “Rustic” “old wood” make sure you always ask questions before you purchase such products, we always say if its Cheap there is probably a good reason why, because wood over 200 years old is incredibly hard to get hold of and real history comes at a price for everyone.
The way I like to think of it is – when your friends or family next come round to visit and they happen to see and mention your new furniture, you can say ( it is hand crafted reclaimed wood salvaged from a football ground in Doncaster that was just demolished ) or you can say ( this is plank wood from builders scaffold boards ) I know which out of the 2 would make much better conversation.
Reclaimed wood has over 50 to 200+ years of weather and abuse to the wood that only decades can produce the look we love, Nail holes deep into the wood that had once been made from blacksmiths and also cracks in the wood and uneven surfaces because of sun damage and changing of temperature over the generations.
The difference can be seen between Replica products like “Plank aka old wood aka rustic” which is glorified Scaffold boards and Pallet wood. in the following pictures so please have a look and see for yourself, but don’t just take our word for it.
Make sure you visit our showroom and website to compare to others and we know with 100% certainty you will see a Huge difference in the quality of finish and mostly the wood.

Plank lacks depth and contrast with no shine or real rustic features.
100+ year old wood has notches cut out and nail holes all over with deep marks and engravings from years of service as roof joists and flooring.
Plank is straight off the boat from Europe, only a year old at most the wood looks pristine and without any real character or age.

The difference is Clear.
